What is the Diamond.com Affiliate Program?
The Diamond.com Affiliate Program is a commission-based rewards program in which webmasters can place links to Diamond.com on their website and earn commissions from revenue generated by visitors that they refer. At the end of the month, Diamond.com sends a check for a percentage of the sales referred to the site. It's that easy!


 
What products does Diamond.com sell?
Diamond.com gives your visitors access to the world's largest selection of certified diamonds, individually hand processed to ensure the highest quality, while offering a wide range of high quality jewelry, including rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, pendants and more.


 
How do I become a member of the program?
Becoming a Diamond.com Affiliate is simple:

  • Read the Terms and Conditions outlined in the Diamond.com Master Affiliate Agreement
  • Fill out and submit the Affiliate Application.
  • Go to the Commission Junction interface when you receive your approval e-mail and start placing affiliate links on your website.


 
Does it cost anything to become a Diamond.com Affiliate?
No. The program is free to join.


 
I'm not a United States citizen. Can I still become a Diamond.com Affiliate?
Yes. The Diamond.com Affiliate Program is open to all webmasters, regardless of location. Please note, however, that all affiliates are paid in U.S. dollars at this time. Should this change and we are able to offer payment in your country's currency; we will notify you via e-mail.


 
I don't have a website. Can I still join the Diamond.com Affiliate Program?
No. In order to join the Diamond.com Affiliate Program, you need to be able to place links to Diamond.com on your website. However, if you have an e-mail newsletter or e-zine, we welcome you to utilize it to promote our relationship. Please note that your list must be opt-in (non-spam).


Compensation Schedule and Payment

Partners of the Diamond.com Affiliate Program earn 10% on all jewelry sales & 4% on loose/certified diamond sales generated through the links placed on their website. Our highly competitive commission structure ensures partner satisfaction, and we utilize a 30-day cookie that secures your commission in case the visitors you send do not purchase on their first visit.


 
How often do I get paid?
We pay our affiliates on a monthly basis. Affiliates are paid through Commission Junction after a review/approval period each month.


 
Do I have to meet a minimum amount in order to get paid?
No. There is no minimum amount. You get paid for any sale amount.


 
How does Diamond.com track products purchased through my affiliate links?
Diamond.com has partnered with Commission Junction, the leading affiliate solution provider. Utilizing Commission Junction's technology, we are able to track all impressions, clicks, and sales which take place through your affiliate link. This does require you to ensure that you are using the proper affiliate links.


 
How do product returns affect my commissions?
If a customer returns a product for a refund, or if credit card charges are reversed due to a dispute or credit card fraud, your account will be debited for commission earned on that reversed purchase.


 
Do my visitors have to make a purchase on their first visit in order for me to get credit?
No. When your visitors come to Diamond.com, we place a cookie on their computer showing that you referred them to us. This cookie lasts for 30 days. If they make a purchase within those 30 days, we still credit you for sending them to us. As long as you are still an active affiliate, we will pay you commissions for the purchases made by these visitors.


 
What if someone deletes all the cookies on their machine? How can I get credit for them?
Unfortunately, if someone deletes their cookies (which very few people do anymore), we are unable to track the source that sent them to us, so we cannot pay commissions on such sales.


 
Where can I check reports detailing my sales?
When you apply to the Diamond.com Affiliate Program, you select a username and password at Commission Junction. Using this login information, you can check your impressions, clicks, and sales, as well as keep up-to-date on new information about the Diamond.com Affiliate Program.


Setting up Affiliate Links

 
Where do I get the affiliate links?
Log into your Diamond.com Affiliate account using the Commission Junction interface and you will have access to all approved Diamond.com affiliate links.


 
Can I modify these links?
No. These links are proprietary to Diamond.com and must be used as they are provided on Commission Junction. If you have need for a special sized link, please contact the Affiliate Program Manager at: affiliates@diamond.com.


 
May I link to Diamond.com from more than one site?
Yes. You are welcome to place links to Diamond.com from multiple sites. All we ask is that you notify us so that we can add the additional site to your account. Each site that you place affiliate links on must conform to the Terms and Conditions of the Diamond.com Affiliate Program.


 
What kind of advertising is prohibited?
Unsolicited e-mail (i.e. spam) is prohibited. Any case of unsolicited e-mail will result in immediate termination of your affiliate account, as well as forfeiture of any commissions. Spam will not be tolerated in any way.


 
I have an e-mail newsletter. Can I put affiliate links in the newsletter?
Yes. Utilizing the links provided to you on Commission Junction, you can place affiliate links in the body of your newsletter or e-zine and receive commissions from subscriptions placed through your links. You can also put a Diamond.com link in your e-mail signature and get credit for anyone who makes a purchase through that link.
